Bir Shreshtha Noor Mohammad Public College (BNMPC) (Bengali: বীরশ্রেষ্ঠ নূর মোহাম্মদ পাবলিক কলেজ) (formerly known as Bir Shreshtha Noor Mohammad Rifles Public School & College (BNMRPSC)) is a Bangladeshi Secondary School and College situated inside the Border Guards Bangladesh (BGB) HQ in Dhanmondi, Dhaka. Originally founded to educate the offsprings of Border Guards Bangladesh personnel.,〔(Official Website of Bir Shreshtha Noor Mohammad Public College )〕 it is open for civilians as well. ==History== The institution was founded on the 2nd of August, 1977 as a Junior School. In 1978, it got recognised as a Secondary School. The first batch of SSC examinees appeared in 1980. Later on in 1983, the institution got upgraded to a college and the first HSC examinees appeared in 1985. An English version of the institute got established in 2004.〔 The name of the institution was changed in 2011 due to the renaming of the Border Guard Bangladesh.〔Uttaran Magazine, 2011〕
