Originally founded to educate the offsprings of Border Guards Bangladesh personnel.,〔(Official Website of Bir Shreshtha Noor Mohammad Public College )〕 it is open for civilians as well. ==History== The institution was founded on the 2nd of August, 1977 as a Junior School. In 1978, it got recognised as a Secondary School. The first batch of SSC examinees appeared in 1980. Later on in 1983, the institution got upgraded to a college and the first HSC examinees appeared in 1985.
